Lemonade is about as iconic to Summer as hotdogs are to baseball fields and I don't know about you, but I LOVE me some lemondade! And to be honest, I kinda like it all...fresh squeezed, store bought and the big fruity flavored kind they offer you at restaurants. Strawberry, raspberry and mango are some of my favorite fruity add-ins for lemonade.
Did you know you can use essential oils to flavor homemade lemonade too? Say what?! Yep! It's as easy peasy as adding a few drops of oil to your batch of lemonade. When I first started using essential oils lavender lemonade was all the rage but this Summer it's all about the sweet Spearmint Lemonade! Check out this easy homemade Spearmint Lemonade recipe I have for you below!

Why use Spearmint essential oil? Spearmint is Peppermint's sweeter cousin so if you find yourself feeling like Peppermint is a bit to bold & sassy for you, try reaching for the sweeter, softer side of Spearmint for all the same things you've loved Peppermint for from upset stomach to head tension to nausea, to motion sickness and don't forget about it's cooling & energizing properties too! You can even use this oil with a little water as a simple mouthwash & breath refresher! My favorite diffuser blends with Spearmint are equal drops of Spearmint & Lime or Spearmint & Adaptiv. If you haven't tried either of those yet, you should get on that like right now! Spearmint is on sale for 15% off this month with dōTERRA too so that makes it even sweeter ;)
